Announcing LyonsType on Neocities

I’m excited to officially introduce the brand-new home of LyonsType:

lyonstype.neocities.org

This move marks a fresh chapter for LyonsType, bringing a cleaner, more focused experience for exploring and downloading typefaces.

As part of this transition, the current Wix-hosted site will be permanently shut down on March 31, 2026. If you’ve been using the Wix site to access fonts, now is the time to download anything you need before it goes offline.

Before the shutdown, users are encouraged to download all available materials from the Wix site, including:

Legacy Fonts – Earlier releases and classic designs from LyonsType

Collections – Curated font sets organized by style and purpose

Derivatives – Alternate versions and experimental variations

Wordmark Font Database – A specialized archive of typefaces based on wordmarks/logos, including famous and well-known ones

These collections will continue to evolve, but availability may change as the transition completes. As development continues, more features, fonts, and improvements will be added over time. Make sure to download any fonts or collections you want to keep before March 31, 2026 as the Wix site will no longer be accessible afterwards.
