SIL OFL license

Effective late 2023, I've made a commitment to license one of my upcoming typefaces under the SIL Open Font License, which means they are now to be open-source.


Sourced from a few statements from the OFL (predominantly the preamble), the goal is to display ecological assist for the font creation efforts of academic and linguistic communities, as well as for them to be freely utilized, redistributed and modified freely. This change may also reduce inquiries and clear up any potential confusion about whether the fonts can be utilized for personal or commercial purposes, which might help preserve space on my inbox.


Therefore, you are permitted to use one of the latest LyonsType fonts for both personal and commercial use - this includes the use of fonts in app development, book covers, websites, and anything else that accommodates to your needs. I hope you enjoy making your work spot on with the use of the fonts with the SIL OFL license. Here are one of the fonts that feature the license:
